1. Align the hole in the steelwork to be fixed with the pre-drilled hole in the existing steelwork. Insert the BoxBolt fixing through both pieces of steelwork until the underside of the shoulder is flush with the outside of the steel.
2. Hold the large hexagon of the BoxBolt fixing with a suitable open-ended spanner and then locate smaller spanner or wrench onto the smaller internal hexagon |

head. Holding the large spanner still and keeping pressure on towards the existing steelwork, tighten the central bolt.
3. Remove the large spanner and check the central bolt is tightened to the recommended torque.

you may have to slightly rotate the inner socket whilst applying pressure towards the steelwork.
3. Holding the outside of the BoxSok device in position tighten the central bolt to the recommended torque. |
